The science of yoga is designed to help us remember the truth of who we are. Integrating our past is an important piece to living fully in the present. Trauma Mindfulness is about reclaiming the attention, power and lifeforce that has been locked in the past by bringing it into the presence of love and forgiveness at every level of the being – physical, emotional, mental and soul. Yoga for Trauma Mindfulness employs the teachings and practices of yoga combined with best practices for trauma awareness to create a pathway to healing and healthy living. This class will teach you how to guide a trauma mindfulness yoga class and will increase your awareness regarding issues of trauma for all students. You will learn how to use these methods in private sessions also.
